Good hair is an investment. Here is how to protect it.

Washing

• Use a sulfate-free shampoo to preserve moisture and prevent stripping natural oils.
• Wash with lukewarm water, never hot. Heat damages the cuticle.
• Gently comb from ends to roots with a wide-tooth comb before washing.
• Air dry on a wig stand to hold the cap shape.

Storage

• Store on a wig head or mannequin so it holds its shape.
• Travel in a silk or satin bag to reduce friction.
• Keep out of direct sunlight. UV fades the colour over time.

Styling

• Heat-style up to 180°C / 350°F. No higher.
• Always spray heat protectant before flat irons, curling wands, or blow dryers.
• Let curls cool fully before touching so the set holds.

Washing

• Wash every 1–2 weeks depending on product buildup and activity.
• Apply moisturising conditioner, leave for 3–5 minutes, rinse.
• Do not rub. Squeeze water through the strands to avoid matting.

Sleeping

• Wrap in a silk or satin scarf every night to reduce friction.
• A satin bonnet does the same job on longer installs.
• Pineapple (loose high bun) before covering to preserve curls.

Detangling

• Wide-tooth comb only. Fine-tooth combs pull and break.
• Work from ends upward in small sections.
• Spray a lightweight detangler or leave-in before combing.

6 – 12 months

With daily wear. Rotating installs extends overall life.

With proper rotation between units and correct storage.
